Lovely Sunday

I like days like today. The weather is not good at all so it’s weather to stay inside. Rainy gray weather I don’t mind when I know I don’t have to go outside.

I slept in until about 10am, got up and drank a nice warm coffee (with milk, no sugar). I did some laundry and we had breakfast at around 11:55am :). Then we watched “Prozac Nation” which is quite a depressing movie. THEN I got my nice clean wash and saw that everything white turned blue. I washed a new scarf (color: turquoise) and didn’t at all think that it could… well… turn my white stuff blue. It did and now I own quite some “baby-blue” clothes. Luckily only old t-shirts and some panties.

Then I baked a cake and made a casserole for this work week and now I’m sitting on my couch and blogging.

What do your Sundays look like most of the time?

I’m 28 in… 1 hour, 20 minutes

And I haven’t blogged ONCE this year. Shame on me. What I’m doing at the moment is reading through my archives. Starting 2006. It’s quite amusing about what I wrote. It’s fun 🙂 Do you ever do that?

SoooooOOooo…. I hope you had a good start in the year 2010? And I hope you had a great New Year’s Eve?!
I didn’t do anything big, just stayed at home, here in Munich. Ate some good food, drank some good wine, had some good talks. Having a calm evening is nice too.

So yeah, it’s my birthday… and I’ll cry if I want to, cry if I want to… I’ll be at work and in the evening I’m meeting some old friends and we’re going out for dinner. And I can’t drink because I’ll be going by car! Boo! Or… maybe I should just leave it at work. I think that’s the best. No parking in the city anyways.

Well, I’m tired now and will be going to bed.

  • I officially graduated from university (rock on!)
  • I’m was told that I’m going to be an aunt for the third time sometime in May 2010 😀
  • I’m in a dilemma and don’t know how it’s going to end

So what’s up with this?

I post once a month – IF – I’m not interested in this site so much anymore but I can’t stop having it either. It’s my little baby and I DO like to work on it every now and again. Plus I just bought new hosting from Holdfire too. I still payed a year at my old hosting company because I forgot to quit 🙁

Move maybe?

After being with my current web host since 2004 I’m thinking about moving. To Holdfire, if so. My current host (ace-host.net) is great, I never had problems, my site was up and running, the support is great… BUT I have sooo much space I don’t need and soooo much bandwidth I don’t need as well. And, of course, for that I pay a little more. The only thing bothering me is that I don’t have add-on domains, with Holdfire I’d have that.

So now I’m in the process of back-uping everything! I’ve read articles on “how to transfer your web site to another host” and hope I’m all set. There’s also so much crap on the server, old pages, sites, images… I really need to delete those things.

Does anybody know – can I just let my hosting expire (just not pay) or do I have to cancel the account? Or is that different with every hosting service?

I just added Exec-PHP which is a plugin allowing you to add PHP into your WP content. Sweet!
I also added and removed some links, I haven’t updated that list in so long and a lot of links weren’t working anymore.

Just don’t know…

I just don’t know what to blog about. I want to, I start a post and think “eh, that’s quite boring…”. Do you have phases where you just don’t know what to blog about?

So… I’ll just ask you guys some questions I’ve been wondering about:

  1. If you’re leaving from school/work… and see a person for the first time that day, do you say ‘Hello’ or ‘Good Bye’?
  2. How do you handle your cable tangle, if at all?
