Lovely Sunday

I like days like today. The weather is not good at all so it’s weather to stay inside. Rainy gray weather I don’t mind when I know I don’t have to go outside.

I slept in until about 10am, got up and drank a nice warm coffee (with milk, no sugar). I did some laundry and we had breakfast at around 11:55am :). Then we watched “Prozac Nation” which is quite a depressing movie. THEN I got my nice clean wash and saw that everything white turned blue. I washed a new scarf (color: turquoise) and didn’t at all think that it could… well… turn my white stuff blue. It did and now I own quite some “baby-blue” clothes. Luckily only old t-shirts and some panties.

Then I baked a cake and made a casserole for this work week and now I’m sitting on my couch and blogging.

Nice day 🙂

What do your Sundays look like most of the time?

  1. What a relaxing Sunday! It would’ve been perfect minus the rainy weather + washing incident 😛
Usually I go to church on Sundays (no church today though, everyone is snowed in :/) and then come back, eat, and get ready to head back to school. It’s the opposite of your relaxing day.

  2. Sunday is my “day off.” But often it can’t really be considered that, since I am doing projects and assignments, updating various sites, doing chores like laundry, getting groceries, and sometimes I end up working and getting NO day off. It’s kind of like all the other days. 😛

  3. I work on Sundays. I usually get an early, short shift (and on Saturday I usually get a late, long shift). I guess it’s my day off since I get everything done early on and then have the rest of the day ahead of me.

Your Sunday sounds so nice! I would love to have a day like that soon.

  4. If I don’t visit friends or go out, I usually spent my Sundays cleaning the apartment, cooking something (yesterday we made Gulasch, which took 2 hours to make) and then relax the rest of the day with a movie or a TV show and maybe play a game or read a book.

  5. Sunday was yesterday… I didn’t do anything. D: I was going to do lot of things instead I just drank tea and watched tv. And usually my Sundays are like that. Lazy!

  6. I usually like days like that, but Atlanta has had so many they just make me depressed now 🙁

Yesterday for me I snacked and watched LOST all day 😀

  7. My sunday generally involves the gym, relaxing at home, watching tv, doing some website stuff or sometimes I go out shopping. I prefer to relax tho so I’m ready for the week head!

  8. My Sundays are usually super lazy and I like to stay home. I hate going out on Sunday, especially at night because I’m thinking about starting work the next day.

  9. Sunday is usually a day that I reserve for relaxation, since Monday is back into the school year. This year I’m not in class most of the week, though … so it’s become a normal day for me. Often times Sunday ends up being a day I can’t motivate myself on … X3

Today’s Sunday was cold and wet (because of the snow on the ground), though the snow is starting to melt off.

  10. Well, most of the time I sleep until 1-2 because I was out the night before, then I sit on the couch watching tv and surfing while feeling bad for not studying… I wish more of my sundays were like yours, sounds so much better 🙂

  11. Hey Tracy. Remember me?! You were my first host! I think my site at the time was called Deanna Land. I was wondering what ever happened to you! I just read your domain information and was like, cuddle-bug, I know this girl! Your website looks amazing by the way.

I agree with you, when the weather outside is yucky, I don’t mind if I don’t have anywhere I have to go. Unfortunately, most of those days are days where I have to go to work. And I take the bus. So that means I get wet.

I would be upset if my laundry came out a different color than it was when it went in. But I’m glad you were fine with it. That’s why I always test anything new in the sink that I plan on putting in the washer to make sure it’s not going to leak color.
