Ranting…

I do rant a lot at times. When someone makes me want to rant 😉 Instead you can also call it “Discussing in a louder voice” or “typing fast while shaking the head” though.

Last friday, Alex, the boyfriend, and I, took some work home with us. Meaning, envelopes and letters that needed to get sent out. Taking 300 envelopes and 300 x 2 letters with us was never a problem with the company. It’s way more pleasant to sit at home, infront of the TV or while listening to music, and placing the letters into the envelopes there.

To make, once again, a long story short, one of the employees bitched about us taking the work home (which, as said before, was never a problem before). She didn’t bitch at us though, she bitched at my sister (who is also an employee there). She was all nice to us, saying thank you for bringing the letters.

Either she takes herself way too serious or she didn’t like it that we didn’t ask her if we can take the work home with us. Or maybe she’s on her period? 😀

So after I delivered the envelopes and stamped them, I took them home again, so that I could throw them into a mail-box. While I was riding my bike through Munich it started to drizzle, a few minutes later it rained, another few minutes later it was raining cats and dogs.

That’s when I sit on my bike and start laughing – there’s nothing else you can do anyways 😉 After about 15 minutes I reached the mail-box. I threw in the letters and then searched my backpack for my house key (seeing my apartment was only 1 minute away) and then realized that I forgot it at work! It has never happened to me before – forgetting my house key somewhere. Damn was I pissed, mainly because of the rain and the fact that I haven’t eaten anything and it was 3pm already.

The whole situation made one bitchy, hungry, soaking wet, pms-ing bitch out of me 🙂 The only one who had the honor of meeting that bitch was Alex though, oh, and one chick who cycled over the street with her bike, allthough she had red. It wouldn’t have bothered me, but I was the one who had green and almost (intentionally of course) drove into her. I didn’t call her names, I just said she should move it! and she did, so… everything ok.

Now everything is good, I got into my apartment, I got food, I got dry, I got Period…

  2. What a lousy day you’ve been through. That girl’s really bitchy though, to talk to your sister instead of you straight. That shows what a coward she is!

  3. Geez, some people honestly need to grow up and bit a bit more mature. I find that no matter where you go in the workplace, it’s all the same BS. You’ll have your crabby ladies, bitchy young girls, and perv guys (haha sorry just had to throw that in). Sucks, but anyway, sounds like you had a day with the envelopes in the rain. I would of been PMSy too. 😯

  4. Poor you. I’ll have a terrible time when it comes to keeping keys ((Car keys, house keys, anything keys, etc)), at least it was a first for you, meaning it won’t happen often to not at all. ((or ever agan ))

I remember awhile back we didn’t have soccer practice because of rain. My friend and I locked ourselves out of the house with no keys. Smart eh? Anyways, it rained for two hours so we wandered along my town for two hours in the rain sokaing and cold, but happy. We both love the rain anyhow.

Oh this is a random comment for joo. Your site is pretty and simple.

  5. That sounds like one hell of a day :/ Glad you survived it!

And about that girl, that just sounds tacky and unacceptable. If a collegue is upset with something you do it’s incredibly unprofessional to go someone else(ESPECIALLY your sister) and rant like that. Possibly she was just having a bad day, but still, unless it’s a serious problem that affects her, why should she be bothered? :/

  6. Oh, I hope you period is over soon. 😯 Heh… oh well, we all have bitchy days sometimes. And your employee is really THE bitch! That’s awful of her to act nice in front of you but talking bad about you behind your back. Yeah, but sadly there are everywhere people like that. 🙁

Weew, you change your theme often lately but it’s nice. 😀

  7. Oh my days! What a horrible day! Lol. I hate people like that, talking about you behind your back ESPECIALLY to your SISTER! God the nerve of some people. I wouldn’t see no problem in taking your work home with you. I just see it as dedication. Wanting to get your work all done with. Hehe.

  8. Wow, those are alot of letters and envelopes!! I love my bike! During the winter I miss it. But now its too small for me and I need a bigger one. My parents are bust though and we dont have time to get one.

  9. I don’t see any problem with taking work home, how stupid of her to talk to your sister about it. Maybe she just wanted to feel like she was in control. Anyway, that day must have sucked real bad. At least everything is good now 🙂

  10. Love the layout, its simple and cute!! That’s so childish of her to act like she’s your friend when she sees but then talks about you behind your back. I hate when people do that:shock: But hey, her’s will come eventually. But until then, take carexo

  11. Guh that woman sounds like a jackass. If it continues, dont take it! do something about it! If it was never a problem previously then why should it be now? Fight the power! LOL.
