Easter Days are over

Sooooo…. my 1,2,3…6 days of vacation are over, tomorrow I have class again. Geography oh, I mean, Geodetical Basics at 9am. Four years that class by that professor was Geography, as of this sememster it’s called Geodetical Basics. I don’t get it. We have never learned any geodetical things in that class, unless you’re saying … oh, I don’t know.

It’s awkward and I wonder who decides, a course getting a new name.

“Hey, I’m studying Cartography – oh no, hold on, as of yesterday, I’m studying Cardiology. Sounds similar, right?”

Ok, I don’t know why I’m making such a big deal out of this now because actually, it doesn’t bother me. I just need to get over it.

Today was the day, where I wanted to complete my application for the remote sensing company. I want to work there in the summer, because once class is done and exams are written and the holidays have started, I don’t know what to do with my time.
All my friends are working (most of my friends don’t study, so they have real jobs already), I can’t spend every day with the lover, because we’ll eventually kill each other, the doctors I need to visit (which would be those you should visit on a regularly basis) will be visited after a few days, so what then?
I get bored easily, so why not just work and earn money and educate yourself?

Anyways, today I was going to write the application BUT – the sun was shining, I grabbed my bikini, my bike, my bath-towel and drove to the Luitpold Park, which is about 5 minutes away from my place. I took a book with me, the title was “Cartography and GIS” and laid it nicely next to my tanning body. Mainly to salve consciences. Once I took a look of it. I read about… two, three sentences, and then arrived at a decision to lay down again and tan – with the book lieing (sp?) nicely next to me of course, so that I can reach it when I need want to. 🙂

So, no application has been written today. I hate it when I procrastinate with important things, with things that just need to be done as soon as possible.

If I don’t apply soon => no job for me in the summer => no money for me to spend => boring and frustrating days for me => I’ll be online everyday and go blind (after I got square eyes of course) or I’ll be in the park for tanning everyday and get sunburnes…

Tracy’s to-do-list:

  • Write application!

… tomorrow 😉

  1. Lol about the names, maybe they just want it to sound more advanced and official! XD

Three cheers for procrastination! :star: Lol, that’s everyone’s middle name these days. 😛 I really need to work on getting a job too or I’ll be in the same predicament that you mentioned…bored, frustrated, blah.

I never understand why its so easy to procrastinate on things that can be taken care of much better at an earlier time… *sigh*…the world may never know. XD
