Workouts tend to be addicting

My goal for this winter is: Keep on making sports!

Seeing I’m not in the mood to bike to work in the cold winters and seeing all the sports I do, are outside sports, I said to myself that I need to keep being active during the winter. I go to the gym (I try twice a week) but that’s not enough for me (this winter 😉 ).

So I joined a course: Abs, legs, and buns. It’s great! 90 minutes, every thursday evening after work. We’re about 15 chicks doing a warm up in the beginning, then going on to strengthen those tummy, legs and bootie muscles and then there’s stretching at the end. I sweat and it hurts but it’s great.

Now I’m thinking of taking another course but I’m torn between “Fitness and Shape Training” and “Bodystyling”. Hmmm….

What do you do to keep in shape? Do you try to keep in shape?

  1. (I had to use my fingers for 3+4 :/ )
How I wish I had posted something like this but alas I am the complete opposite. I keep saying I will try and keep fit. It’s not that I’m not skinny, but I am so unfit. That’s the problem. I look terribly skinny but find it difficult climbing up a flight of stairs. I think I need to build myself up a bit but any fat I eat goes straight to my thighs and a bulge in my lower stomach :@
I think swimming would help but I’m just so lazy!
Keep it up! Bdw, what age would you suggest ‘starting to get fit’. I mean seriously working out. I can’t do sports (no coordination what so ever) so it would have to be gym. But most the females in my local gym are around 25. Very young, but old compared to my 18-year-old self so I find it very akward going.

  2. I hate working out… it’s such a drag. So now I’m forcing myself to go to work and back home again on foot (40×2). Plus a mandatory 30 minute “walk” during lunch break. I don’t always manage to walk to work, mostly because of the cold and rain… but I try to.

I used to go swimming once a week, but now I’m wary of going out with wet hair. :\

  3. =D good luck with keeping up your fitness regime!! Me too i’ve started this summer in taking an aerobics class every thursday! I’ve also got yoga on wednesdays & on the other days i go running / brisk walking and i try whenever i remember (or haven’t eaten late!) to do tummy exercises each evening 🙂 i’m really set this time to tone up that tummy! (& get the navel pierced ^^)

Going to classes is fun because you meet other people with common goals & it’s more fun i think 🙂 – i couldn’t possibly go to the gym myself … doing exercise on my own? umm …. no thanks 🙁

😀 again – the best way not to discourage yourself i think is to see it as a way to meet new people and enjoy the workout (think of the results afterwards! hihihi)

  4. I love a good workout, although sometimes find it difficult to motivate myself to go! I go to a class on a Monday night straight from work, which is 60 minutes long. In that we do cardio, and legs, bums & tums – so similar to yours I guess. I also try and do at least another 60 minutes at home using an exercise video, and that is where my downfall with the motivation!
