Oktoberfest 2013

Ok, I made it. I survived the crowds and my mood lightened up as soon as I saw the horsies and sweets.

Welcome to the Oktoberfest!
I’m not a big fan of the Oktoberfest, sure, it’s fun when you’re a group of people, have a table in a tent, drink, sing, dance, eat, laugh. But I’m not a big fan of the outrageous prices, the city being crowded during the time and drunk people all over.

The beautiful horses. Notice the “Weißbier” next to the drivers seat?!
We left work early and went right at 1pm, when it’s not as crowded (as in the evening). We walked over the fairground, looked at some rides, ate, bought some sweets and drove back home. It was quite nice actually, I enjoyed it.

The food was very good (so much meat!), we paid for two times “knuckle of pork” and one Mass 42 EUR. But it’s not that you don’t know that you’ll leave a lot of money there when going. The sweets are pretty much the main reason I go to an event like this 😀 I just love them! They are all gone already, too. Boo!
