Thanks to Sarai and her little list of what to blog about, I’m blogging again 🙂 (today at least). I really have some sort of block at the moment, I have no idea what to write about, although my days are super busy and filled with ton of things to blog about – I’m just not in the mood.

Number 38 on Sarai’s list is “What do you spend money on?”, so I’m going to share what I bought from May 1st to May 23rd 2008:

Not very exciting

Once again, I had my two printed out personalities of the want-to contest with me, as I entered Karstadt. I wanted to look for some fitting gifts for the two personalities in my hand, and I’m telling you, it wasn’t easy. I actually feel like I went shopping for kids 😀 Well, I spent about one hour looking for goodies and just picked things spontaneously which I though might fit.

The two personalities I shopped for today were:

• Hanna
• Emsz

I had no idea who I picked, I just checked about five minutes ago. Oh, and I just realize – Both in Europe, meaning, not as much postage – YAY 😀

Congrats you two – I really think my gifts suck (I wouldn’t like them lol) but it was fun. Doing this by only knowing a person’s personality is sooooo hard. I think, next time I’ll do it by “favorite color” or something similar.

Where’s Tracy at!?

Oho, I know, sorry for not posting for so long. I just, wasn’t in the mood at all.

The weather here has been gorgeous, for almost a week now there’s no cloud in the sky, it’s nice and warm and windy, which makes a perfect climate.
I’ve been up to quite a lot of things.

First of all, I started the “365 Project” again on Flickr, so if you’re a friend of mine, you can see my daily whatever of me here http://www.flickr.com/photos/trayay.

The thesis isn’t going so well. Tomorrow and Thursday I’m going to spend my day in the library to write a bit for it. We’re waiting for some data, so until that hasn’t arrived I can’t go any further (in testing).

The movie about the university is going ok. We’ve been shooting a lot in May, I’ve been busy making appointments, meeting with different faculties, walking and riding through Munich, recording all the typical Munich places. The movie we’re creating is an image-film with a length of 3-5 minutes.

About the layout – ehrm – I already started to create a new one – again! I have no idea if and when I’ll put a new one up…

I’d like to get the two winners packages sent out by the end of May. I still don’t know who they are 😉

On Saturday I had time for MYSELF. Fun times 🙂

Anyways, I was in the mood for creating a new layout (yes, again, and yes, the one I posted a while ago is not anymore)

Instead of creating one though, I created three… *sigh*

There are a lot of things I don’t like in the first two – the font of schatzi.me in the first one, the blue box on the side in the second one, I was too lazy to change that though seeing I have no idea if I really like the layouts created. I wanted a plain one, I managed that in the first two. The third one is cute, I’m not sure if I’ll get bored by it soon though. Boo!

Reading bad news makes me

• depressed
• upset
• sad
• scared
• angry

I have the “local” south-German newspaper in my Feedreader. I’ll scroll through it and click the titles I’m interested in.
The most depressing/scary/… news I read the last week(s):

• Young mom gets killed in a car because people throw a log from a highway bridge
• A young mom doesn’t have to go to jail, because when she killed her kid, she didn’t know what she was doing
• A person driving the subway in Munich gets beaten up by young guys – AGAIN
• and lots more

Sometimes I’d be happier to not know about anything. A world without radio/tv/internet/newspaper – I’d like that <3

On Sunday I sat on this computer ((well, I sat on my chair, NEXT to the computer and INFRONT of the monitor and keyboard)) and deleted a bunch of my accounts and made all the other sites I’m still a member at (vox) personal.

I don’t mind people I know offline finding me online (my ex-boyfriend, offline friends), no, if offliners ask me for my site ((me:”oh, I love coding and working with Photoshop” person:”Do you have a website?” me:”Ehrm, I guess”)) they’re quite impressed. None of my friends code, none of my friends work as much with Photoshop (well, some).

A couple of months ago I received two emails at my @schatzi.me account. The two emails came from the company which support my current diploma thesis with satellite data.

The emails were great, the employees writing me offered help, said I shouldn’t hesitate to email them when I have questions. They said “we found you through google’s automated text search” ((I have not linked the site, I only wrote the name of the satellite in my about section)).

On one side I was glad they found my page, on the other side I was worried. I was sitting at work, hardly concentrating on my thesis, just thinking “Oh gawd, I hope my about page doesn’t say something like My favorite sexual position is this and that and I really love getting laid in the morning “. I couldn’t wait to get home and check.

On Sunday, as noted above, I deleted accounts like Twitter (never used it), removed a bunch of photos, made my accounts private, updated this site (also new picture on the top, me from behind, not very personal, but most of you know how I look anyways 🙂 )

I’ve done that because I’ll be looking for a job this fall and I can imagine CEO’s of a company like to open IE, FF, Opera… , go to google.com and just search for the person applying. If you search for “Tracy” on the Germany google you’ll find my page as #6 on the first page (yay)

So well, I’m not fake, it’s me, my real name, my real interests, I’m just not as personal as I used to be (and with that I mean I won’t tell you anymore stories about how bloody my tampon was today (did I ever?), how many orgasms I had yesterday night, and no, I won’t post anymore naked pictures of myself 😛 (again, did I ever?) )

I’m pretty honest, I’m probably a 9 or 10. I’m too honest at times which kinda sucks at times. (Example: Tracy and her mom are at the tourist agency to book a flight. They’ve been to the agency a week before already to check out the price. On the day where they book, the employee tells them “The flight will cost you 500 Euro each.” Tracy, as honest and naive she is, replies “Really? Because last week you said it’ll cost us 550 Euro?!?!” While the employee checks the price again Tracy gets a kick in the leg from her mom.)

Oh, I don’t know what to blog about. I upgraded WordPress and forgot to not overwrite my smilies, and now I’m using the default ones again 🙄 I bought some books last week, really really cheap. Java for 50 Cent and Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde for €3, which I’m currently reading.
