The others said

Yesterday I went on an excursion with my Geography class. Very nice, considering it was raining like crazy ¾ of the time. We went to the Botanical Garden. It sure was very pretty to see all the trees and flowers and plants, and if the weather would have been nice I would have taken a whole bunch of pictures.

I did take a few though…
My old mates from the sixth semester said this: Nooo, the prof doesn’t check if you’re there or not.Well, he did. And I’m soo sick from hearing “The others said”. For three years now it has always been “I heard from that person, who already wrote the math exam by this prof, that it’s so easy” – Why did half of the people in my class flunk then? It wasn’t easy.I’m sick of all the people panicing because They heard from some person, that…. I try to not listen, experience for myself. You can’t trus the others anyways, everybody has to fight for oneself.Yesterday we had a “Women-night” – my mom, my two sisters and me. Oh, and my little nephew Leo of course. And we ordered Sushi ? ? As so often, our eyes were bigger than our hunger, so now I have nine inside-out-makis in my fridge.Alex and I are going to have a lovely dinner tonight 😉

I talked with my mom about an article I read in some Uni-Magazine. The German value-added tax is going to rise up to 19 percent next year. Which is quite horrible. Since we have the Euro, things are so damn expensive. I can’t even imagine things getting more expensive. Germany’s economy for the.. let’s say last 30 years has been great. And now our generation has to pay for the mistakes the politicians made back then. You can just shake your head and sigh.

Tomorrow, Saturday, June 2nd, I’m going to start studying. This time has come again… it feels like I just studied yesterday for my last exams. So I guess I’ll be at the library tomorrow at 9am latest. I have no idea how full it is going to be, and if it is going to be full, then 9am is the latest you can get there, otherwise you won’t get one of the 500 places to study. I just read an article how the libraries are turning in to a catwalk – HA! That’s what I was telling my boyfriend last year already. Come on, girls in high heels, perfectly dressed, makeup, hair all nice, on a Sunday at 8am at a library. It makes me want to vomit. I hate it. Oh well, if it makes them happy.. the guys aren’t way better anyways. It’s funny, that within the years at studying at the library, you can tell exactly what a person studies. You can smell the law-students from miles away already.. how ironical.

Ah, I ordered a magazine over internet yesterday, GEO, dedicated to Sigmund Freud. No, I can’t miss that. I’m still reading his Biographie, and I’m at a chaper which tells about his Interpretation of Dreams. His opinion and statements are so absolutely amazing, they’re so wacky, you’d never think about it. What a crazy yet interesting and amazing man. :)It must have been great to live in the early 20th century. All those interesting people, containing Einstein, Rachmaninoff etc etc etc.History repeats itself, let’s hope that wizards are going to be repeated as well.

What’s bigger than god,
more evil than the devil,
the poor have it,
the rich need it,
and when you eat it, you’ll die.

  1. i know the answer to your riddle! it’s “NOTHING”. 😛 hehe

i try not to listen to rumors about professors or classes either because it makes me stay in that mindset. if i hear an instructor sucks its going to make me have a bad attitute toward the class. so, i’d rather find out for myself. 🙂

  2. Man, you’re so random.

Hee. Ever since I gained irregular student status and had the prerogative to pick my sched and professors, I rely on what the others say 😀 Well.. just what my friends say, anyway haha.

I want maaaaakiiiiii. I had to throw away the leftover maki that my crush surprised me with cos I brought it to work, left it in the pantry, and then forgot about it.

    SHWAR!

  3. It is a catwalk everywhere these days! Girls go to school in heels and dressy clothes, just to sit in class for hours. How uncomfortable! I enjoy looking nice, yes, but I also enjoy bumming in my sweats sometimes too 😛 Ah well, to each their own I guess. Nice pictures by the way 🙂

  4. lol you’re too cute, and really are completely random.

i absolutely LOVE the pictures from the botanical gardens. gorgeous. 🙂 you take such amazing photos.

sushi is such a pick-me-upper for me, hehe. i heart sushi! give me some of your leftovers, please. 😀

haha @ your library = catwalk comment. i feel like that whenever i walk into a mall. okay, so be it that it IS a mall, but why do you have to dress so fancy just to go shopping? 😛

  5. guh, half of my comment got cut off x.x! wait. 19% tax, thats insane, thats like, inhumane! and Tracy I always hear you and you studying, your brain must be going crazy! and the answer to the riddle, my guess is the adam and eve apple hah.

  6. NOOO! Is that really YOU, Tracy? WElcome back, I didn’t realize that you were online again – remember me? It’s Manila from BrokenAway.com ^^
