My last days were way better. Thanks for cheering me up :).
The weekend was busy – on Saturday my sister, her lover and I drove to Austria to continue renovating an apartment. We got quite some work done, so we’re happy about that.
On Sunday my mom made her “birthday-thanksgiving-dinner”. Seeing we don’t have Thanksgiving in Germany but seeing she’s american, she made a turkey and everything that belongs to it, and seeing her birthday was yesterday, but non on her kids would have had time because we all work, she celebrated it on sunday.
The dinner was so good, the bubby loved it (he doesn’t know dinners like that). My belly was huge – but that’s nothing unusual 😛
I only have two more days off work. YAY. I took Friday off so that I could celebrate it with the bubby and have dirty friday-sex. Ja sure… but he’s leaving to go to his parents on friday evening, and so we still have the whole day together to cuddle and do similar things.
I also have next week off of work and January 2nd. I’m happy about that, of course. My eyes hurt (again) so much the last few days – damn monitors!

One of my presents is the one I got my parents. The bubby scanned damn old pictures and I worked on them in Photoshop – that’s my mom (left picture) and my dad with me. In the right picture it’s my dad with my nephew. Two pictures in one. I really liked the idea of how I created it so I hope he’ll like it too. Of course I framed them nicely 😉
I’m happy I have all my presents because people in Munich are going CRAZY…
I also have the week ‘between the years’ off – but actually I didn’t really wanna take it off, I wanted to work so that I have an excuse for not staying as long with my parents 😛 Now I have to lie to them, dammit. Or tell them at the concert I wanna go to is on the 27th, not the 28th… Good thing about the holidays though, is that I’m gonna see my bro’s again…
Damnit, I miss dirty Friday sex!
I haven’t bought any Christmas presents, but that’s mainly because I’ll have no room for them in my suitcases since I have to pack up a year’s worth of my own crap and move back to the US for awhile. I feel bad about that, but I don’t know what else I can do.
The pictures you made are lovely. And that’s actually a good idea for gifts.

That is a great idea to give to your parents, my mom has been doing the same thing! She is a graphic designer so she has cleaned up an old photograph of my dad’s sister. She died of a heart attack (just all of a sudden) at the age of 18 and they only had one small picture of her. She scanned it in and cleaned it up, blew it up a bit larger, and sent framed copies of it out to everyone on her dad’s side. It is a really nice picture.
