I’ve been sick the last couple of days. I got “the thing that’s going around these days” which contains a sore throat, a terrible headache (starting at 17:00 – thanks for Advil) and just feeling bleh! The Lover came daily and took care of me. He bought me herbal medicine, made me tea, rubbed menthol-balm on my back and chest and filled my aching body with love ((by laying close next to me)).
My mole is doing fine, thanks for the comments 🙂 It was nothing dangerous, I could have left it big and fat in my face, but to see why it’s all big and fat the doctor suggested to cut it out. Turns out there was a cyst underneath it. There’s still a bunch of glue ((a suturation was not performed)) and dried blood around the scar, I have no idea if it will fall of or if I should carefully peel it off. The glue works so well (thank god), that I had to scratch it off my cheek away with a nail scissors, so therefore the doubt it’ll just fall off. Anybody have experience with this?
I called in sick for work today which sucks, because I would have been able to attend an “Apache Tomcat” training today to Wednesday. Seeing I’m not fit 100% I didn’t join. Plus, I need to be healthy again by Thursday 11:00 because that’s when my wisdom teeth ((left side)) will be pulled. Gaaah!! 🙁 I am NOT looking forward to that. I got the right side pulled about 6 years ago, the operation itself was good, just the days after were sucky. I’ll post pictures 😉

you have to have an operation to pull your wisdom teeth? I pulled one earlier this year, and it really wasn’t that bad… Even though I had been nervous and terribly scared many days before hand :p
Sucks that you’re sick! 🙁 I’m glad you’re being taken good care of, though! Did you get the cyst under the mole removed too? Ouch!
The thought of pulling out wisdom teeth makes me all uncomfortable XD It must be all those terrible stories out there. I hope it turns out not-so-bad for you.
Definitely take pictures when you look like a munchkin! That’s the only entertaining thing about getting your wisdom teeth pulled out. Haha

You have a really sweet lover for taking good care of you. I wish we had that kind of freedom to do that when one of us is sick. Hehe. I hate being sick.. it makes me feel helpless and lazy to do ANYTHING!

I have no experience with glue, just stitches, can’t you call your doctor to ask?
Wow! Sounds like ALOT of pain. My mother is getting it too. She’s been home for 3 days now with a terrible headache and her body in pain. I really hope I don’t catch it. Last year around this time I was layed out sick in the emergency room getting shots.
I can’t imagine going through that again.
Being sick sucks! I totally hate being sick = weak and I don’t like being a weakling. I’m glad I can keep all of my wisdom teeth. You are lucky, having such a lovely lover. ;3 I hope you get better soon.
