Oh my, I just “turned down” the contrast on my monitor, A LOT, and it’s so much better! My eyes don’t hurt as much after a long day on the PC and my layout displays a better contrast between the different elements as well 🙂 Woot!

Most people think the contrast on my monitor is so “low” that it hurts their eyes when they try to make out what’s on the screen. lol. Oh well, it works for me.
You know I rarely mess with my monitor contrast. Usually whatever is the default. It doesn’t bother me at all.
So what made you want to turn it down in the first place? I recently totally screwed up my monitor and when it was all reset, it was so much darker (less contrast! Oiy!) and I actually hate it! 😮 I love my contrast. Every time I mess with it, though, it looks stupid. *grumpy face*
