You’re moving…

… and can only take five things of your current place. What would you take and why?

Here are mine:

  • 1) My antique bureau: It belonged to the sister of my grandma who was born sometime around 1910. It means a lot to me and it’s nice and old and lovely
  • 2) My bed: It’s an American Queen size bed and oh, it’s so soft and comfortable. It’s yummmmm
  • 3) All my photos: All the memories – could never leave that behind
  • 4) My stuffed animal – the tiger (named tiger): I got that from “Bush Gardens” when I was nine years old. I’m 28 now so it’s pretty much my significant other 🙂
  • 5) My hand-made ceramic frame: I made that when I was 17 I think, it’s just so cute and flowery and it’s got a bee and a ladybug

The other things I own – those are pretty much all replaceable and don’t mean that much to me, although it would be very hard to leave all the rest behind.

  1. I’d take:
    – my bookcase (with all my books on it… can that count as 1?)
    – my computer
    – all my photos
    – my I Love Lucy DVDs
    – my pillow (the bed… I’d just take my BF’s bed because his is way more comfier!)

  2. Hm, that’s an interesting question… I think I’d take:

    – My photos. I agree that you can’t leave that many memories behind.

    – My pet snake and her terrarium. Duh 😛 (I assume my dog counts as a member of the household, it’s not like I need to pack him)

    – My computer. I’m pretty sure I’d actually die without it *not at all geeky*

    – I too have a stuffed animal that means a lot to me 🙂 Mine is a Mickey Mouse doll I got when I was 2 years old.

    – A framed drawing my grandmother made in 1940. She was really talented and even though the paper is yellow and stained it’s still the most beautiful piece of art I own.

  3. * Sewing machine – I would be very unhappy without it.
    * My mother’s red shoes, hippy dress and LBD (little BEIGE dress) – They remind me of my mother obv <3
    * Computer – pretty obvious, these days you just need one and there is all my important stuffs.

… Actually there is five and I don't really feel need to take anything else.

  4. I love that you have an antique bureau. I have nothing of sentimental value in my room. I can really only think of 2 things I wouldn’t want to part with:
    1. My “treasure” chest
    2. My bookshelf and all the books in it

  5. My choices would be…

    1. my teddy bear – melanie – I’ve had her since i was 5!
    2. my laptop – i’d die w/out it. 🙁
    3. my 9 dolls xD (yes im lame HAHA)
    4. my son (of course)

I dun really have anything else i’d be willing to drag around with me… I’m a lazy gal xD
