17 weeks pregnant

Now, let’s see if I’ll keep at it. With a toddler in the house I have other priorities than posting on my blog but often I think I really have to post the weekly baby bump because I wonder, how was it with Baby#1 compared to this pregnancy? So, here we go…

How far along: 17 weeks
How much do I weigh: 51,5 kg (with Baby#1 I weighed 1kg less)
Baby size: Size of the palm of my hand
Belly button in or out: After I eat the top of my belly-button sticks out a bit 🙂
Sleep: It’s ok
Food (non) cravings: I’m in the mood for coffee again which I didn’t drink the first three months. Other than that no special cravings.
Symptoms: My belly hurts each morning but I’m not sure if it’s in my uterus or just my intestine or full bladder.
Maternity clothes: Pants and tops, daily
Stretch marks: None
Miss anything: A sip of beer, being able to take pain medicine
Looking forward to: Next sonography which is the big one
Best happenings this week: Visiting Oma and Opa and spending a few days there
Movement: Nope, as I have a front wall placenta let’s see when I will feel the baby
Gender: It’s going to be a surprise, I assume baby will be a boy
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy and bitchy (according to the bubby)
Sports: Due to lack of time I haven’t been going regularly. I have to start going twice or three times a week again!

Expecting Baby #2!

Woot woot – baby #2 is on its way 🙂

I took a pregnancy test on August 9th 2017 which was positive.

I was 8+ weeks pregnant at my first appointment and the little peanut inside me has a heartbeat and is growing. I assumed that I am 7 weeks pregnant yet I guess my last cycle started with the first day I had one drop of blood in my panties – confusing.

The due date is sometime in April 2018. So, if all goes good, I’ll have two April kids 🙂

How far along: 8 weeks
How much do I weigh: 49,7 kg
Belly size: The usual fat-bump
Belly button in or out: In
Sleep: I have too much going on in my brain. A lot is bothering me at work, things changed at the Gyn office. Q comes into our big bed every night at the moment so.. sleep? Not so good
Food (non) cravings: Not in the mood for coffee
Symptoms: Nausea every day the whole day! Sometimes stronger, sometimes not so strong. I’m very flabby, my blood pressure was 95/60 yesterday and that’s how I feel. The headache has gotten better, the first few weeks I had it very strong once a week. I’m not in the mood for a n y t h i n g, I have to force myself to go to the gym.
Maternity clothes: None yet but I wish I could wear them already 🙂
Stretch marks: None
Miss anything:
Looking forward to: … the time without nausea
Best happenings this week: Seeing the baby’s heartbeat <3

9 weeks

How far along: 9 weeks
How much do I weigh: 49,5 kg

Belly button in or out: In
Sleep: Well I wake up every night a couple of times which is nothing new for me
Food (non) cravings: Not in the mood for coffee
Symptoms: Nausea every day the whole day! Sometimes stronger, sometimes not so strong. I’m very flabby. I feel like throwing up when I smell too intense things (like bodylotion or chemicals from cleaning)
Maternity clothes: None
Stretch marks: None
Miss anything: Life without nausea
Looking forward to: … the time without nausea
Best happenings this week: Telling most of the family members about the pregnancy

It’s been a while since I wrote everything on the top and I am now 15+ weeks pregnant. All good so far, the first three months are over and I am so happy, I feel a lot better now. My belly seems huge and I’m too lazy to make photos 🙁 Too busy to blog and just occupied with other things in real life I guess. I wish I’d make a weekly blog about my pregnancy just like with Baby#1. Halp!
