A girl’s best friend

So, I’m thinking, this year as a Christmas/Birthday present to myself (I normally always buy myself a little something for my birthday in January) I’m going to buy myself something shiny. For one of my fingers 🙂 The middle finger probably (I like to wear rings on the middle finger). The engagement-ring (if I ever shall get one) will be on the ring finger for sure, but till then the middle finger will do.

So anyways I’ve been browsing the web the last few days and saw some lovely lovely lovely shiny rings. Unfortunately for me – the US has soooo much pretty and cute diamond rings and Germany doesn’t 🙁 but oh well.

Here are some pretty ones I found at amazon.com
So purdy! Well, my price limit is pretty low but who needs a lot of carat 😉

What’s something you’ve been planning to buy for yourself in the near future?

Workouts tend to be addicting

My goal for this winter is: Keep on making sports!

Seeing I’m not in the mood to bike to work in the cold winters and seeing all the sports I do, are outside sports, I said to myself that I need to keep being active during the winter. I go to the gym (I try twice a week) but that’s not enough for me (this winter 😉 ).

So I joined a course: Abs, legs, and buns. It’s great! 90 minutes, every thursday evening after work. We’re about 15 chicks doing a warm up in the beginning, then going on to strengthen those tummy, legs and bootie muscles and then there’s stretching at the end. I sweat and it hurts but it’s great.

Now I’m thinking of taking another course but I’m torn between “Fitness and Shape Training” and “Bodystyling”. Hmmm….

What do you do to keep in shape? Do you try to keep in shape?

Old Posts

I just read through some old posts – about four year old posts – and thought “that’s a nice reason to keep this website – my online diary”. For some reason I’m just not in the mood to blog, design layouts, create content anymore. It’s a shame – a little bit – but I guess I could just keep this domain and try to post at least once a month?! Shouldn’t be so hard (but sometimes, it IS!). I don’t post at forums anymore, I don’t upload photos on Flickr anymore, or let’s say hardly anymore. Argh.

Q: Have you ever been in a non-internetty mood regarding your website and if so, what made you keep it – or leave it?

You’re moving…

… and can only take five things of your current place. What would you take and why?

Here are mine:

  • 1) My antique bureau: It belonged to the sister of my grandma who was born sometime around 1910. It means a lot to me and it’s nice and old and lovely
  • 2) My bed: It’s an American Queen size bed and oh, it’s so soft and comfortable. It’s yummmmm
  • 3) All my photos: All the memories – could never leave that behind
  • 4) My stuffed animal – the tiger (named tiger): I got that from “Bush Gardens” when I was nine years old. I’m 28 now so it’s pretty much my significant other 🙂
  • 5) My hand-made ceramic frame: I made that when I was 17 I think, it’s just so cute and flowery and it’s got a bee and a ladybug

The other things I own – those are pretty much all replaceable and don’t mean that much to me, although it would be very hard to leave all the rest behind.
