Sister vs. BF vs. Friend

“Can you please please please work for me August 14th?” – this was the SMS I got from one of my sisters. I’m bad at saying no to favors. I call the boyfriend, he says I should say no, “tell her we have plans with our friends”. We do have plans with our friends those days, so I tell my sister no.

That just made me notice that it so hard for me to say no when a family member or loved ones ask me for a favor…

I returned my Rain pants yesterday. I went to a few sport stores and tried on the sizes XS and S. I don’t know what the companies imagine, but XS fit over my boobs. The last store I went to had Kids rainpants. I took the biggest kids size (I think it was 176) and those were WAY too big… so I worked my way down in the sizes to find that size 152 in kids clothes fit me. I started laughing in the cabin because I was just so damn frustrated that all the damn RAIN PANTS are sooo big.

At least I only had to pay 14 Euro 🙂 My original Rain pants cost me 100 Euro.

Tomorrow the boyfriend and I are driving to Stuttgart to spend a few relaxing days at his parents place. The weather here is beeing ugly the last and next few days/weeks??? It’s raining all day. It’s very annoying and depressing.

Why is it, that always when you have vacation, the weather gets bad?

  1. Your layout is simply lovely! Totally loving your colour combination! 🙂

Oh how I wish too that I can just fit into a smaller size! My problem is I can’t seem to fit into anything but a XL. 🙁 Perhapes you can try Asian size? They are normally smaller than european/us sizes. :hehe:

  2. hahaha! tiny tracy! if i ever saw you in person i would have to bend down really low, wouldn’t i? :hehe: just kidding babe. i think it’s awesome that you saved 86 euro just for getting a smaller size. 🙂

  3. Wow, you sound like a very, very small girl. Though – sometimes sizes just aren’t true to form no matter what end of the spectrum you’re on. Size issues work the same way for the big girls too – trust me.

I have trouble saying ‘no’ to people too but after a while you really just don’t have much choice in the matter sometimes. I hope that everything works out there.

Have fun at Stuttgart. I hope you got the relaxation you were looking for.

  4. Wow, you have to wear a kids’ sized rainpants?! 😀
At least it was a whole load cheaper.

yeah, it’s kind of hard for me to refuse favours from my family or anyone close to me. But when the work gets hard I’ll be thinking, ‘Why the hell did I say yes for?’ lol

Hope you have a great time at Stuttgart!

  5. That sounds a little like my life. Very hectic, and a little disappointing at times. 🙂 I hope the weather gets better, that’s a bit of a bummer. Have fun!

  6. At first when I read this I was like what? size 170 plus?!? There’s no suck thing, but than when you said Euro, I realized you were somewhere in Europe. lol.

Yeah, I hate it when you go on vacation and bad weather happns. That always happens to me.

  7. Sometimes the best vacations are the ones that don’t turn out the way you’ve planned. And regaurding your working situation, if you consider your boyfriend family then it is okay to put him like family, but if he’s just a b/f who you don’t consider anything more, then you might want to reconsider working, otherwise have fun with him.

  8. yeah i can’t say no to my family either. even when i know i shouldnt say yes i do because well they are my family. some of my family members use this to their advantage!

wow girl you are small!! back in highschool i wore a kids size to. i used to always feel like such a dork walking into the kids stores or kid sections in a store. now i wish i could go back in that section lol. u got a better deal in the kids section! go tracy ❓

  9. i’m not too good with saying “no” as well. but especially at work i guess. but i think it’s a common problem. colleagues of mine even took a course to learn how to say no.

wow. tiny rainpants he? as long as they keep you dry…

  10. Yeah the weather really sucks. First it was too hot for me and now its too cold and depressing. Haha… 🙁 Well, I hope you have a good time in Stuttgart though! And you can’t say no to favors because you are a good girl. 😀 OMG, all rain pants are to big for you? Weew… you must be a small person with a sweet ass. I bet all rain pants are to small for me. *lol*

  11. I know how “bad weather” feels =/ Sucks! We almost got hit by a tornado when we went to the cottage up north. I hope your weather is better than mine while you are away 😐

  12. I discovered kids sizes in highschool, hehe. I used to have a thing for souvenir shirts and the size S ones were always too big for me. SO I started going for the size 14 for kids which fit me perfectly. 😀

My raincoat is a kid’s raincoat, reprazent!
